How do I register as a verified resident?
Visit the LGA Secretariat with a valid ID, proof of residence (utility bill or tenancy agreement) and passport photograph. Alternatively, log in to this portal and use the Online Services tab to begin the digital registration process.
How do I report a road or drainage problem?
Use the "Report an Issue" tab on this portal. Fill in the category, description, and location. You can also attach a photo. You will receive a reference number and can track the status online.
When is the monthly sanitation exercise?
The community sanitation exercise holds every last Saturday of the month from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM. All residents within the LGA are expected to participate.
How do I apply for the scholarship program?
Download the scholarship application form from the Services tab, fill it out, and submit it with your admission letter, birth certificate, proof of indigeneship, and passport photograph at the LGA Secretariat or youth office.
How can my business be listed and verified?
Log in to this portal and navigate to the Business Hub tab. Submit your business details. Our team will verify the listing within 24 hours. Verified businesses get a green badge.
How do I pay my market or property levy?
Levies can be paid at the LGA Revenue office or at designated bank branches. We are currently implementing an online payment platform — check the Services tab for updates.
Who do I contact for a building permit?
Contact the LGA Planning and Development department at the secretariat. Download the Building Plan Approval Form from the Services tab and submit with your architectural drawings.
How can I watch the town hall meetings live?
All town hall meetings are streamed live on this portal's Events tab and on our official YouTube channel. You can also watch recordings of past meetings.
Can I submit an anonymous report?
Yes. On the Report Issues tab, you do not need to be logged in to submit a report. Your contact details will only be recorded if you are logged in.
How do I get a birth or death certificate?
Visit the LGA Secretariat births and deaths registration unit. Download the application form from the Services tab. You will need hospital records and two witnesses.
